External Oversight

The integrity of the police in Montenegro has been compromised. The problems of bribery and misuse of office do not stand alone; there is also excessive use of force.

Neither legal framework, nor the practice is satisfying enough to ensure integrity of police in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The police work has been marked with numerous affairs for years now, almost exclusively with no epilogues, which points to the fact that the police are being instrumentalised by politics.
