The Ministry of Interior and the Serbian Government need to provide an explanation of Police Director dismissal. The appointment of new Police Director should be fully transparent.

The integrity of the police in Montenegro has been compromised. The problems of bribery and misuse of office do not stand alone; there is also excessive use of force.

Neither legal framework, nor the practice is satisfying enough to ensure integrity of police in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
