The Police Directorate is the main law enforcement agency in Montenegro. Overall political responsibility for policing tasks lies within the Ministry of Interior.

The Kosovo Police still does not possess the ‘integrity plan’ which would guide the most fundamental principles on enhancing accountability, impartiality and honesty. Politicization is the most sensitive issue.

The integrity of the police in Serbia has been compromised. Ministry of Interior has recognized the problem of compromised integrity of the police, and that is good.
