PRISTINA — The POINTPULSE is organizing a conference “The Role of Civil Society in Building Police Integrity: Western Balkans Perspective” that will be held on Thursday, 23 March 2017, from 10:00 in the Hotel Sirius, Agim Ramadani Street in Pristina.
The discussion will be held in Albanian and English language. Simultaneous translation will be provided.
These topics will be addressed at the event:
- Main roles of civil society in fighting police corruption;
- The impact of civil society activities on building police integrity;
- Preconditions for establishing the effective external oversight of the police;
- Main challenges in the work of civil society organizations;
- Benefits and drawbacks of regional civil society networks.
