BALKANS — Three separate presentations of research findings on police integrity will be organised on the 26 of November by the POINTPULSE Network in Belgrade, Podgorica and Pristine.

Regional network of civil society organizations POINTPULSE invite you to the presentation of research results „Police integrity in Serbia“, which will be organized on Thursday, 26th November, starting at 11:00. The aim of the event is to encourage discussion on challenges and priorities of building police integrity in the Western Balkans.

Venues:

  • Belgrade – Media Centre, Terazije 3,
  • Podgorica – PR Centre, Bulevar Josipa Broza 23a,
  • Pristine – Conference Center “Orion”, Rexhep Luci 2.

Following issues shall be discussed:

  1. What is the biggest threat to police integrity?
  2. Who is controlling the work of police and how?
  3. How are human resources being managed within police?
  4. Is it possible to decrease political influence on police work?
  5. Which are the good and which are the bad facets of current legal framework and practice?

The discussion will be held in Albanian, Montenegrin and Serbian. Simultaneous translation in English WILL BE provided.
